The Foundation
Our story began with Ezio Demelo and his 25 years of experience in the South Florida real estate market. Over two decades, Ezio saw a recurring gap in the industry: his clients-the same people he helped buy and sell properties-were constantly battling property managers who wouldn't pick up the phone, delayed critical repairs, and allowed maintenance costs to spiral out of control. He realized that owners weren't just looking for someone to collect rent; they were looking for a stress-free experience built on responsiveness and integrity.
The Evolution
By 2023, after years of mastering construction scopes and high-ticket sales, Lucas chose to restart his career as a licensed independent contractor. But he noticed a recurring problem for property owners: management companies knew how to collect rent, but they had no idea how to protect the physical asset. Owners were losing thousands to "paper-pusher" managers who couldn't spot a structural risk or negotiate a fair trade price. Coastal Legacy was founded to bridge that gap.
The Legacy
Today, Coastal Legacy is a family-owned operation led by Lucas, his wife Jessica Almeida, and his father-in-law Ezio Demelo. We combine Ezio’s 24+ years of real estate investment wisdom with Lucas’s licensed contractor expertise (CGC1538045 | CCC1337557) and Jessica’s operational excellence. We manage every property with the heart of a steward and the eye of a builder.
